Meet Nikita Gupta, Founder of FAANGPath

FcF: Tell us about yourself?

Nikita: I was born and brought up in India. And then I went to Singapore where I did my masters, and stayed for almost 5 years and had worked with some global media agencies namely Omnicom Media Group and WPP group as senior data analysts. I love travelling and have travelled to more than 17 countries. I have been nominated twice in the data leader category for Women in IT awards, Asia. Interestingly, I started FAANGPath as one of the job seekers and found myself a full-time job to help others find a job. I enjoy what I am currently doing as it gives satisfaction at the end of the day that you are helping hundreds of people out there.

FcF: What is FAANGPath?

Nikita: We're a group of people who are at FAANG+ companies as Hiring Managers, Engineers, and PMs who review your resume, LinkedIn and mock interviews from the perspective of breaking into a top job at companies like Facebook, Apple, Amazon, Netflix, Google, Microsoft, and more!

FcF: How did you come up with FAANGPath?

Nikita: I moved to USA in April and saw that lot of people were searching for jobs on LinkedIn with the hashtags called #opentowork and were unable to find a job. Seeing all those posts I decided why not help these people help find the right job with the right resources.

FcF: What were the first 3 steps you took after you knew you wanted to pursue this idea?

Nikita: I found my co-founder, built all social media accounts and our website, started reaching out to people in need.

FcF: How did you meet your co-founder?

Nikita: I met my cofounder through common friends, she is an HR in amazon and I was discussing with her job scenario and how many issues people are facing to find a job in these unprecedented times. She told me that a lot of people are approaching her for referrals on Amazon but their resumes are not good enough. After discussing with her I realized it's really important to help people with the right resources who are in urgent need of help.

FcF: What has been the most challenging for you so far in building FAANGPath? How have you been able to overcome that challenge so far?

Nikita: Most challenging part is assigning the most relevant mentor which needs a lot of manual work which needs to be done by me so to overcome that we are building a new platform which will hopefully be live soon!

FcF: What advice do you have for other women who have a start-up idea or side project idea?

Nikita: Start something using that idea as it's really important to build something out of it. Don't give up thinking that it's not easy to run a company. There will be 100's of problems while you will be told by the people around you, which can demotivate you to start it but it should not keep you back. Find the right resources and also work hard to achieve what you want to achieve.  Keep confidence in your idea and work on it.

FcF: How can the Female CoFounder community help you?

Nikita: Just help my initiative to reach out to people in need as it's difficult time for everyone specially for people like me who have been looking for jobs and there are very less jobs and you don't get the reason why you are getting rejected so help me spread it your audience so that they can get resources.

FcF: How can people contact you?

Nikita:  Contact us through our website: or can also reach out to us on our social media handles:
